Private Day Tour to Beijing Nanshan Ski Resort

Nanshan, a state ski resort managed by a professional international team, is perhaps the most well-known resort in China because it isn’t big – it’s simply huge!

This winter wonderland is just about 60 km from Beijing near Miyun Lake. In the morning on the appointed day your personal tour guide and a driver meets you in the lobby of your hotel and takes you to Nanshan. It’s going to be about a two-hour drive after which you will enjoy 3 hours of ski time. Please, note that ski outfit and equipment rent fees are not included.

An English-speaking guide helps to pick up skis, shoes, a ski suit and ski poles from the Service Center and introduces you to the skiing instructor who will first give a safety precautions briefing and do some warm-up exercises and then teach you anything on your request. The guide will always help you with any translations so don’t worry just plunge into the pure pleasure of crisp air and surrounding beauty. Three hours is a perfect time – you won’t be too tired. You take the skiing equipment back to the Service Center and the tour guide has already made the arrangements for lunch at a cafe at the nearby resort for you. Finally, you are transferred back to Beijing.

For your information: Nanshan has probably the best man-made snow in the world due to advanced snow making equipment and groomers. The 18 runs are always in perfect condition and marked according to the international color classification code and the international standard trail prompt systems of signs thus making skiing absolutely safe and amazingly comfortable.
