Your day within the tour will begin at 6:00am, when the travel agency coach will take you from the place where you’re staying at in the Chinese capital. You should be absolutely prepared for the trip at that early hour. If you take children with you, do not worry for a light breakfast will be served by the tour organizer. We will reach the Jinshanling Great Wall by 10 in the morning approximately. The tour will include climbing up the stairs of the eastern side of it.

Since the sight is 80+ miles away from downtown Beijing, the way to it and back will take the greatest part of the overall tour period. The wall dates back to the late medieval times when the Celestial Empire was under the Ming royal family. Fortification and building of this area was supervised by the most respected and brilliant commanders of those times, who both headed the works and guarded the North of China from alien invaders.

Hiking up is a pretty rough and exhausting activity that will take as long as three hours and requires one to be fit. You will see a magnificent diversity of the local fortified towers. This exact part of the Great Chinese Wall is less visited than others, and you will get a chance to explore it carefully and slowly enough. Sightseeing will be followed by lunch at one of the local cafés. You will be waited for and the coach will drive our tourists back to their hotels in the capital downtown. You will be at your accommodations by early evening.
