Visitors can take subway line 5 and get off at exit “A” of “Temple of Heaven East Gate” station, which is the east gate of the Temple of Heaven, then walk for 2 minutes to the east gate of the Temple of Heaven, after that, scan the QR code ticket at the entrance to enter the attraction.

The Temple of Heaven is the largest, most famous and representative masterpiece of ancient Chinese sacrificial architecture, built in the Ming Dynasty in the 14th century. It was built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty. The emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshipped the heavens and prayed for a bountiful harvest. It is a treasure of ancient Chinese architecture and a true reflection of ancient oriental civilization, and has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. This ticket includes admission to the hall of Prayer for good harvast/ the imperial vault of heaven/the circle mound of altar.
